Canaanland Farm is owned and operated by Diane Schroeder and Debra Waddell of Republican City, NE. Diane and Deb are both registered nurses and got started in Morgans in 1988 with their first Morgan, Brokenspur Irishlas (RG Watergate x Cavalier's Countess). Irish is a beautiful flaxen chestnut and got Diane and Deb started in their love for the flaxens of the breed. Irish is retired on Canaanland Farm.

Soon more Morgan mares joined Irish. The next to come to was Mistena's Masquerade. The Caleeta Cat followed soon afterward. In 1994, the first product of Diane and Deb's mares was born to Mistena's Masquerade. The filly was another beautiful flaxen...SW Grace in Motion.

In late 1994, Diane and Deb relocated from the Council Bluffs, Iowa area to south central Nebraska and established Canaanland Farm. They have 20 acres of beautiful prairie along Turkey Creek. This has allowed them to expand their Morgans and do more breeding.

In 1995, they were able to lease the fine son of Waseeka's In Command, Double O Seven. "Dub" was at Canaanland five years, and Diane and Deb have retained three of his get: Canaanland Abraham (1996 black gelding), Canaanland Top Cat (1996 flaxen chestnut stallion) and Canaanland Abigail (1999 brown mare).

Canaanland Farm stands the son of Double O Seven, Canaanland Top Cat. Diane and Deb raise an occasional foal have an occasional young horse for sale.

Visitors are always welcome!
